Brett Millard

CFP® Certified Financial Planner, Mutual Fund Investment Advisor

Originally from Ontario, Brett has travelled to, worked and lived in many countries around the world before making Kelowna his permanent home.

Brett has been with Thom and Associates Financial Planners Inc. since 2007 and now works as a Managing Partner while heading up the investment division of the firm.

Designated as a Certified Financial Planner, Brett holds a life insurance licenses with BC, Alberta and Ontario and completed the Canadian Investment Funds Course for Mutual Funds.

With a background in business, Brett previously worked as an equities trader on the NASDAQ and NYSE. Before that, he held a director level position at a large international business strategy company, working in several different industries.

Brett is a past member of the Ballet Kelowna Board of Directors, and the Canadian Mental Health Association Board of Directors. As a fully certified Search and Rescue Manager for the BC PEP, Brett volunteers with the Central Okanagan Search and Rescue team.

In his spare time, Brett can be found in the mountains rock climbing, skiing, white‐water kayaking and mountain biking.
